Program Description
New Haven, CT Chapel Haven is a not-for-profit independent living skills program providing a continuum of residential and community support services to adults with cognitive disabilities. We offer programming in life skills, employment, education, and recreation, both intensively in an apartment style residential setting and for those living on their own in the Greater New Haven community. Chapel Haven's residential program serves 27 young men and women, 18 years of age and older. Individuals are admitted throughout the year as space permits and come from all over the United States as well as Canada, the Far East, and Europe. With professional staff on duty 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, residents gets the attention and instruction they require to gain independence.
